Day 182

Surgery Update:
We arrived at UW at about 7:00 AM; shortly thereafter Sarah was taken back for her lymph node mapping. For this they inject radioactive fluid that collects in the lymph nodes so that they can tell where they are. After the injection they needed so Sarah to move around a bit, so Sarah being Sarah she decided to walk up and down the halls doing the hokey-pokey. Only my Sarah would think of doing something like that. She is set to go back for surgery at about 12:50 PM. Please pray for her because she is having quite a lot of anxiousness.

More updates to come...

Dear Sarah~ I believe you are in surgery right now and I just wanted to tell you how beautiful you are inside and out. I am inspired by your continual strength and story. I can't wait to see you in a couple of years with all of this behind you. I especially am excited for you to experience pregnancy and motherhood. Please include me in your shower guest list. Tell your mom hello and I'm thinking of all of you in this very difficult time. Lots of Love, Sunshine

My 3 year old great niece was showing me on Saturday how she had learned to hokey pokey! Hold on to your youthful spirit and exhuberance! Don't ever let the cancer define who you are. You are an inspiration to many.
